The Big Moo
Edited by Seth Godin

An interesting title!  This was a great book for me for a couple of reasons.  First, the information is gathered is from 33 of the world’s smartest business leaders, and who can’t benefit from that! Second–I will come to that in a minute.

In these difficult economic times the tendency is to tighten up, pull back, cut back.  While some of that may be necessary, the writers in The Big Moo discuss points of being remarkable; describing that as “standing out”, “keeping the fire in the belly”, failing and getting back up, taking risks, and, finally, having your customers say the word “remarkable” to you.

Thinking outside the box, being creative, being remarkable in all factors of your business– that is what we are talking about.  Get it, and read it.  I read it in a week!
I told you the first reason why I liked this book.  Now for the second reason and it is the reason I recommend this book.  “Stop trying to be perfect and start being remarkable”.  For a person like me who struggles with perfection, this was a great book!
