Small Business Owners Pull Together During “Tough Times”

As we look at what is going on with our ecomony, there are a few things that have become obvious. First, these are going to be “tough times” for businesses and consumers. Second, if a business is big enough, the government will bail them out. Third, Small businesses aren’t big enough, so they can’t count on the government to bail them out of these “tough times”.

That small businesses are on their own doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t survive. In fact if they pull together, they can even grow and thrive.   It is that idea that ignited the idea of 100 Days to Abundance (for $1.00 a Day). Each program consist of 20 small business owners and sales professionals focusing together on growing their businesses. Team Nimbus provides the facilitation, use of its proven concepts and ideas and the focus and accountability systems. The small business owners share their business experience and  knowledge with each other.

100 Days to Abundance is based on the successful Fast Track program.  Over the last 3 years about 50% of Fast Track participants doubled their revenue, income or clients.  Similar success is expected with 100 Days to Abundance.

This month the first two 100 Days to Abundance programs started. In addition to those 40 small business owners and sales professionals, another 14 have already signed up for the program scheduled to start on on December 5, 2008.  The goal is to work with at least 100 small business owners and sales professionals by January 2009, so two more programs are scheduled to start on January 6th and 8th.

It is always easier to meet challenges with a team, but when you are in business “for yourself” it is easy to find yourself in business ‘by yourself.” 10 Days to Abundance create the opportunity for all of the participants to have the benefit of a team of like-minded business professionals and the resources and experience that comes with it.  That’s a pretty good hedge against the “tough times.”
